Deep Green Sunset is a German stagerock band, formed in 1998.Members are Dennis „Dan“ Köhler (vocals), Christoph „Chriz“ Fröhlich (guitar), Sven „Laubi“ Laubersheimer (guitar), Christoph „Basti“ Bastian (bass guitar) and Markus „Ernie“ Ernst (drums).The band released their debut album „Adrenalin“ in 2001.Their music was a blend of melodic, crossover metal and riff rock, which brought the sound of bands like Rage Against the Machine or Faith no more to mind.The lyrics were partly in German and English, something that later on became their trademark.On their second studio album „Endlich raus“, Deep Green Sunset moved away from Metal and added melodic elements.In between 1999 and 2007, they contributed several songs to German and... read more
