Dave Navarro (David Michael “Dave” Navarro, born June 7, 1967) is an American guitarist who plays in the alternative rock band Jane’s Addiction and cover band Camp Freddy. He has also played with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Panic Channel.Navarro started playing guitar at 12 after listening to Jimi Hendrix and joined Jane’s Addiction in 1986. The band split in 1991 and Navarro promptly formed Deconstruction releasing a single self-titled album.
