Allister, a Golden Retriever and Lab Mix, is The Oakland Press' pet of the week. She is about 14 weeks old, as of Jan. 6. She was rescued from a shelter along with her brother, Gavin, before either of them got sick. Her foster mom said she's sweet, shy and very laid back, a very easy puppy to love and to take care of.
