PHILLIP PHILLIPS

- Home Lyrics

Hold on, to me as we go.
As we roll down this unfamiliar road.
And although this wave is stringing us along.
Just know you’re not alone,
Cause I’m going to make this place your home.

Settle down, it'll all be clear.
Don't pay no mind to the demons,
They fill you with fear.
The trouble it might drag you down.
If you get lost, you can always be found.

Just know you’re not alone,
Cause I’m going to make this place your home.

Settle down, it'll all be clear.
Don't pay no mind to the demons,
They fill you with fear.
The trouble it might drag you down.
If you get lost, you can always be found.

Just know you’re not alone,
Cause I’m going to make this place your home.

Settle down, it'll all be clear.
Don't pay no mind to the demons.
They fill you with fear.
The trouble it might drag you down,
If you get lost you can always be found.

just know you're not alone,
Cause I'm gonna make this place your home.

This song is about God plopping you down here on earth but letting you know he is always here with you and not to be afraid because it is the demons causing fear and letting you know he will make this earth your home.

I believe this songs means that no matter what you will always have that one person that will make it alright. That your not alone and the line '' Dont pay no mind to the demons they fill you with fear'' means that if you know you'll be fine why pay attention to the bad? At first my family & I were sure it God.

This song meant so much to me an my boyfriend. He talked me into moving to his home town.I did, we were happy, making memories an planning on marrying. Unfortunately 16 months later he was shot an killed, I was with him an heard his last words. I immediately moved back to my original home. Even though I hate the town he was murdered in, I long to be there. This song makes me think of how we were making his home our home. Then in the end he truly went home,to heaven!

What this song means is that to have fun. Although a storm will move our home will protect us from anything.

This song is about being in an unfamiliar place, but not worrying as long as you are together. I am writing a novel now, and at the end, the main character realizes the meaning of home. It's where you make it, through friends, family, and memories. Anyway, if I get published, buy the ISIS Files and you may see the similarity. I love that this song can be so meaningful so simply, like a children's book. Philip's voice is unique as well, making it an incredible song musically. Follow me so far?:)

I know I know, I'm. Sap. But this song makes me cry! The demons are people that don't believe in me and their are a lot of those people. They think I'm weird and crazy. But this song makes me feel weightless. Like I'm ontop of the world!
