10,000 Reasons Lyrics

Bless the Lord O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
The sun comes up
It's a new day dawning
It's time to sing Your song again
Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me
Let me be singing when the evening comes
Bless the Lord O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
You're rich in love and You're slow to anger
Your name is great and Your heart is kind
For all Your goodness I will keep on singing
10,000 reasons for my heart to find
Bless the Lord O my soul
O my soul

Worship his holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
And on that day when my strength is failing
The end draws near and my time has come
Still my soul will sing Your praise unending
10,000 years and then forever more
Bless the Lord O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
Bless the Lord O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name (repeat 3x)
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name (repeat 3x)

After singing this song in church, I came home and looked up the lyrics so I could sing it at home and during my daily activities. I love this song. It gives me hope and courage, and brings me closer to the Lord.

The song is just so serene. It draws me to God where I can feel His arms gently around me as I sing to Him in HIs kingdom forever more! I had to get the words so I can sign it in Church. It translates so beautifully!

I kind of felt like the last verse is talking about the day of your own death. Even in the moment of death, still I will praise the Lord! 10,000 years and forevermore (Eternal life, praise be to Jesus Christ!!!)

In admitting my sin and in my repentance, this song brings affirmation of God's faithfulness and of love for me and actuates the Holy Spirit's comforting presence with the words of Christ Jesus, 70 times seven equals forevermore...

Gods order is for health and wholeness, but when sin entered the world one of the consequences was the physical death we will all experience. To modify the last verse is the reject the reality of the fall, and fails to recognize Christ has overcome death, and we do need to fear death.

I have been listening to this song on KSBJ in Houston, while commuting to or from work. It is such a beautiful song and lifts me up everytime I hear it.

@david: The kingdom of God is for the poor, meek and those who are persecuted for God's sake. Never forget that the kingdom of God represents hope to those who are in the lowest position on earth and believe on Him fully

This song is perfect. When life has you down its hard not to stand back up when declaring a song like this. I believe this is one of those songs God hears and is blessed by!

This song reminds me no matter how bad or good my day is going to just praise the Lord. I was told I couldn't hold a note even if I tried. I have a praise and worship service with this song.
