Hear My Cry, Oh Lord Lyrics

Hey!
Come on people of God.
Here we go!

Hear my cry, Oh Lord,
Attend unto my prayer.
From the end of the earth,
Will I cry out to Thee.
When my heart is overwhelmed,
Lead me to the Rock,
That is higher than I...
That is higher than I...

For Thou hast been,
A shelter for me.
And a strong tower,
From the enemy.
When my heart is overwhelmed,
Lead me to the Rock,
That is higher than I...
That is higher than I...

For Thou hast been,
A shelter for me.
And a strong tower,
From the enemy.
When my heart is overwhelmed,
Lead me to the Rock,
That is higher than I...
That is higher than I...

Do you need to talk to the Lord!

Hear my cry, O Lord,
Attend unto my prayer.
From the end of the earth,
Will I cry out to Thee.
When my heart is overwhelmed,
Lead me to the Rock,
That is higher than I...
That is higher than I...

For Thou hast been,
A shelter for me.
And a strong tower,
From the enemy.
When my heart is overwhelmed,
Lead me to the Rock,
That is higher than I...
That is higher than I...

For Thou hast been,
A shelter for me.
And a strong tower,
From the enemy.
When my heart is overwhelmed,
Lead me to the Rock,
That is higher than I...
That is higher than I...

I read the first song verse & got a different interpretation than before. When I hear this song, it relate to the fact I'm down & all that was in me is heavy ladden, therefore need my Rock of salvation. Most definite this song is a winner to my being, when in places unknown, among careless people, including self at times & alone with no one to hear me.
