When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary
When troubles come and my heart burdened be
Then I am still and wait here in the silence
Until you come and sit awhile with me
You raise me up so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up to more than I can be

This song reminds of the power of God to uplift His children in time of difficulties, pain, and sorrow. Presently my country, Sierra Leone faces Ebola epidemic which has claimed over 400 lives bten June and Oct. I am called to trust Him for protection, providence and provision. Tks, Josh.

I was a heroin addict, drug dealer and a criminal for 10 years until Jesus raised me up.
today I am completely free and he still raises me up every time my soul gets weary.
No one can meet Him and stay the same!
I guess at those moments of encounter with Him you really glimpse eternity!!!
Praise God!

It tells me to leave my pasts and wipe my tears, to forget about what people say about my life and move on to see the brighter future, and if i had a better home where i can see my parents everyday but being a dream of my life and being raised by a single parent and sometime being forsaken. Dont waste this chance it only comes once and ive never enjoyed any moment of it, coz it never came in my life and ive never saw it.

Reminds me that I have three fathers. The One who created me, the one who brought me into this world and the one who lovingly raised me.
