People shut up about the Christian stuff! This song can be taken different by different people. It doesn't mean the same thing to everyone. Who cares if it's about Jesus it's a good song.

I did a radio interview with Lacey and Sameer. They are Christians, and their relationship with Jesus greatly effects their songwriting. But they prefer not to be pigeonholed as a Christian band.

Ive seen them live, it's about Luke 16:19-30, the story of Lazarus and the rich man. The rich man is thirst in hell , and wants to warn his friends that hell is real and to take it all back.

i have the cd, memento mori. if you read where the lyrics are, its acutally a story line and explains the song. yes, theyre christian but it has nothing to do with those verses...
