Far From Home Lyrics

Another day in this carnival of souls
Another night's sands end as quickly as it goes
The memories are shadows, ink on the page
And I can't seem to find my way home

And it's almost like your heaven's trying everything
Your heaven's trying everything to keep me out

All the places I've been and things I've seen
A million stories that made up a million shattered dreams
The faces of people I'll never see again
And I can't seem to find my way home

'Cause it's almost like your heaven's trying everything to break me down
'Cause it's almost like your heaven's trying everything to keep me out

'Cause it's almost like your heaven's trying everything to break me down
'Cause it's almost like your heaven's trying everything
Your heaven's trying everything to break me down
To break me down, to break me down

Your heaven's trying everything
Your heaven's trying everything to break me down

I don't know..... I think the song is about someone losing a friend and it messes with him and he screws up and bushes away the one he loves, but he stills loves her and he's trying to make up for it but everyone else she knows is telling her it's a bad idea to get back with him...

This is my life, exactly... It's been a bumpy path for me. I have done what I can but It never seems to mean anything, I just get broke down even more, meet new poeple, and leave them behind, go somewhere that I call home.. 2 months later, theres a new home.

I heard this song on criminal minds, where an agent goes into a unsubs home without any arms or back up, she relates to the unsub because her father was a murderer. Something she could relate to as a victim, and also as an insight as to why the unsub lost his mind. Music is such a powerful tool.

haha, amerifats. you actually believe your people in the middle east are protecting your freedom. the US is among the least free first world countries in the world. you are your governments puppets and slaves. atheist states are better.

My brother is in bootcamp to serve our country he is laying his life on the line to protect mine to make sure we get all the freedoms we r supposed to have as Americans but unfortunately our own politicians make this dream float further and further away

I dunno how people really think it's about the military.. Doesn't it seem a bit religious to you, actually? 'Heaven's trying everything keep me out,' maybe he's depressed how so much seems like a sin.
