FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH

Far From Home Lyrics

Another day in this carnival of souls
Another night's sands end as quickly as it goes
The memories are shadows, ink on the page
And I can't seem to find my way home

And it's almost like your heaven's trying everything
Your heaven's trying everything to keep me out

All the places I've been and things I've seen
A million stories that made up a million shattered dreams
The faces of people I'll never see again
And I can't seem to find my way home

'Cause it's almost like your heaven's trying everything to break me down
'Cause it's almost like your heaven's trying everything to keep me out

'Cause it's almost like your heaven's trying everything to break me down
'Cause it's almost like your heaven's trying everything
Your heaven's trying everything to break me down
To break me down, to break me down

Your heaven's trying everything
Your heaven's trying everything to break me down

I don't know..... I think the song is about someone losing a friend and it messes with him and he screws up and bushes away the one he loves, but he stills loves her and he's trying to make up for it but everyone else she knows is telling her it's a bad idea to get back with him...

This is my life, exactly... It's been a bumpy path for me. I have done what I can but It never seems to mean anything, I just get broke down even more, meet new poeple, and leave them behind, go somewhere that I call home.. 2 months later, theres a new home.

haha, amerifats. you actually believe your people in the middle east are protecting your freedom. the US is among the least free first world countries in the world. you are your governments puppets and slaves. atheist states are better.

It makes me think of the woman I loved who said she couldn't love me because I didn't share her religion. I still think about her everyday.

This song represents when I go offshore and leave my family every other month. To go out there and be excluded from the world to help make the world go round.

The song is absolutely awesome! There are not many out there that can bring your life into perspective of whats real and motivate one to get better.

This song is exactly what it feels like being deployed... It puts words to the feelings you have every morning when you wake up and realize you're still in this hellhole. And of losing a friend...
