Jamie Rivera What On Earth (Am I Here For?) Lyrics

I know
I hear it deep inside
Destiny is calling me
I've lived
To see a man walk on the moon
And now i speak my mind
Through computer lines

Momma said
"You can be what you wanna be
Just keep the faith
And play by the rules
Love and prayer
Was all that pulled me through school
But there wasnt that one degree
I could earn that would tell me

What on earth am i here for
Whos in the mirror
Only heaven knows
Now ive got a thousand questions
Runnin' through my mind
And the way i pray you'll show (Cause only you know what you know)

My family says
"Girl youre just like your daddy was
The fruits never far
From the tree
So im praying each night
Just like momma used to do
Rhat the father they see in me
Is the father that i pray to

Lord of my life
I need your hand to guide
Take me to that one place
Where i should be

You promised taht your son would shine
Light my darkest nights
Take the coulds from my eyes
So i can see
The purpose you have in me
