Los Angeles-based alternative rock band Skycycle was led by singer/songwriter Steve Isaacs. He formed Skycycle (so named in honor of the two-wheeled rocket in which Evel Knievel attempted to jump the Snake River Canyon in 1974) with guitarist Sven Shenar, bassist Kelly Castro and drummer Rob Brown.Skycycle released a self-produced demo tape named Siren in 1997. This successfully got them signed to MCA Records, leading up to the issuing of Skycycle's debut EP, "Breathing Water" one year later. Skycycle were dropped in 1999, before the release of their completed full length CD, "Ones and Zeros", which remains unreleased.
