Irish singer/songwriter, pianist, guitarist, and vocalist Suzanne Rhatigan was raised in Dublin, but moved to London in the early ’80s, where she began to do session vocal work for record producers Stock, Aitken & Waterman. After teaching herself piano and beginning to compose her own songs, Rhatigan attracted a manager and a publisher, and continued to try to pin down a record deal through the late ’80s; when a friend played her tape for executives at Imago, her career was launched.
