My name is Nicholas “Nick Bean” Royster, Jr born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to an African-Indian mother and a African-American father. Growing up in a single parent home in the neighborhoods of north Philadelphia I was first introduced to music by my older brother who at the time was working at a record store so he would have all the new releases.
