He is an English electro-pop singer and songwriter, adopting the name 'Munroe' after the facial piercing above his top lip. Munroe is of Jamaican, Brazilian and English decent.His debut single, "Pop Is Not a Crime", was released in 2007 as an online 'buzz' track, as a result it brought him a significant amount of interest from alternative music scenes throughout the UK.
