In 1994 morrissey and Siouxsie Sioux from Siouxsie & the Banshees collaborated and recorded the Single "Interlude" (credited as "Morrissey & Siouxsie"). The original version of that song was first featured in the 1968 film of the same name and was sung by Timi Yuro.Soon after the recording Morrissey and Siouxsie had a falling out and neither did any promotional work for the single. Despite this, the single's chart peak (#25 UK) was consistent with Siouxsie's other UK chart placings of the era - after 1988 she never charted higher than #21 UK.
