I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness are an indie rock band formed in 2002, based out of Austin, Texas, United States. I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness is often associated with the band Spoon, and Spoon's lead singer, Britt Daniel, even produced their first album. The resulting EP, I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness, was a 5-song EP released under Emperor Jones Records in 2003.
