5Star Fallout is a alternative rock band from New Zealand. The lead singer, Michael Murphy, was the runner up in NZ Idol & went on to form this band in 2005 with John McCaffrey, Peter Williams, Andrew Kerr all from their home town Taupo. The band has completed the recording of their debut album with producer Clint Murphy. Now back in NZ after a tour of America the band is making plans to release the album in 2008.
