Like a shadow searching for the light, she turned her back darkness
radiant, formulas to twist and talk in the silence, hearts beat like thunder
in this brainstorm of violence, like a warrior looking for a fight, peel back
the feeling ego enemy, torture the medium to broadcast your fears,
crooked laughter the source and veil of your tears.
Eyes cant see anything, eyes just hide the pain, eyes cant see anything,
eyes just look in vain.
Like a feeling that’s lost with the touch, matter over mind flesh dream,
speech just goes thru the motion of sound, meaning is lost as the motive
is found, like a moment that’s lost in the rush, fury and huger and
heaven’s disguise, time is just another scavenging tool, you sing for the wise man and dance for the fool.

eyes just beg for clues.
Like a thought that tries to frame the wind, mirror of madness insatiable,
head like a sinner she acts like a saint, I’m color blind and she says she
can paint, like falling asleep in church and waking up to say amen, vanity
is your prayer received, she knows what she thinks she says what she will,
she lives by emotion she don’t know how to feel.
